Cross country

Cross county 

Yesterday it was cross country. We went in line to start the race. l came 3rd in the 7 year old girl race.

Chloe came 1st and Georgie came 2nd . l went past Ella and Stella and all of the other girls. We did the race after the lunch. I saw the finish line right ahead. l zoomed to the finish line . People were cheering  loudly. I said yay that was cool. I'm hot. I  think l want a rest and sit down. I sat down with my friends and had a talk about my race and how we won. I think l should  be faster next time. Then it was the boys race l was excited. They did some warm ups. When they finished it was the race.  They lined up and the teacher said go! They all ran. Hunter was in front and Mika.  Mika came 2nd and Hunter came 1st. When l did the race l felt so nervous.  No-one cheered for me.  l  was so sad they only cheered for Chloe because she was winning. I was happy that l got a place.
